Hades is the Greek god of the Underworld, ruler of the realm of the dead and guardian of the souls who pass into the afterlife. Unlike many modern portrayals, Hades was not considered evil; he was a stern and impartial deity responsible for maintaining the natural balance between life and death.

He is often depicted holding the Bident, a two-pronged spear that symbolizes his authority over the Underworld. At his side is Cerberus, the legendary three-headed hound that guards the gates of the realm of the dead, representing protection and the boundary between life and death.

This sculpture portrays Hades as the majestic king of the Underworld, accompanied by his most iconic symbols: the Bident and Cerberus.
