Saint Figarland Garling[4] is one of the Five Elders who publicly head the World Government, holding the title Warrior God of Science and Defense;[2] prior to this, he held the position of Supreme Commander of the Knights of God.[1] A World Noble who hails from the Figarland Family, Garling is the biological father of Knights commander Shamrock,[5] as well as the pirate Shanks of the Four Emperors.[6]
