The parts are separated for ease of printing .There are several options to choose from (hull as one piece hull separated, etc..) Be sure to watch the video tutorial for assembly and painting instructions. This is a remarkable replica!! This model is not hollowed or pre-supported, allowing you more flexibilty in customizing your 3D printing experience. I took great care to make this as accurate as possible. This is default scaled to be about 17 inches long when printed at 100% default scale. In my video tutorial I UPSCALED all the parts to exactly 133% which is the maximum width the widest part of the model (top hull forward) would fit on my resin printer (elegoo Jupiter). This resulted in a model around 24 inches long!! Feel free to upscale or downsize your model to whatever size you’d like/is feasible for your 3D printer.
