DESCRIPTION

Four Västergötland class submaerines were built between 1983 and 1988 for Swedish Navy. In 2003-2004 they were deeply modernised including the insertion of hull section compartment of AIP capability (Air-Independent Propulsion) and recommissioned as new Södermanland class. Model represent early (before refit) Västergötland class
