HMS Beagle 1831 - Charles Darwin Ship 3D model

The H.M.S. Beagle was a Cherokee-class ship, famous for carrying the naturalist Charles Darwin in the journey (1831-1836) that inspired the theory of the Origin of Species. This 3D model is very accurated and based on historical research and documentation, considering also the improvements that have been introduced to the ship's hull and equipments before the Darwin's journey.The model is originally made in Blender and supports subdivision surfaces; FBX format is provided in standard version and also in a reduced version without edge bevels.NB: All the materials uses PBR textures: Diffuse and Normal textures are standard RGB images; Metallic and smothness are encoded in the same PNG texture to optimize memory (RGB = Metallic; Alpha = Roughness).Polygons and vertices after smoothing ( subdivision surface ) : Polygons - 3,430,602 ; Vertices - 3,447,607
