OMAHA 0-6-0 - Switching Locomotive - ANIMATED 3D model

OMAHA 0-6-0 Rigged and Animated update - 3DS Max and Lightwave SWITCHING LOCOMOTIVE

This is an updated, Rigged and ANIMATED version of the same Engine and Tender I have for sale as a static model.

Animating the Wheels is simple: 1) Turn on “Auto Key” 2) Move the Time slider to the end of your scene 3) Select the Last of the 3 Engine Wheels. 4) Select “E” on the keyboard or the ‘Rotate’ button and rotate the wheels as much as you want. (the other wheels and pistons and driving rods all move based on the back wheels) 5) Play back the scene.

I have added a terrain model with straight track and a tunnel at each end.

Also, there are short sections of straight track and of curved track so that you might add them into your own scene.

Included are 3 Scene files 1) Basic Scene 2) Animation with smoke and steam using the built in particle effects in Max

Due to Newtek"s updating the IK system in LW 9.5 that makes animation of the wheels MUCH easier, I have:

1) a version of the Rigged model that works from LW 7.5 to version 9.4 (it has been absolutely tested in versions 7.5 8.5 and 9.5).

I also found that the LW8.5 version worked somewhat in LW9.5 but was problematic, so if you have LW9.5 buy that version of the model please.

2) a version just for LW9.5 and up
