DESCRIPTION

GWR 4900 Class 5972 Olton Hall steam locomotive which was used as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter movie franchise.

This model is very detailed and includes realistic piping, cab controls, braking system and valve gear.

Model Information:

  • Verts - 192385

Extra Notes:

  • The Maya file and shader nodes are setup with Redshift Renderer (texture maps will work with other PBR renders such as Arnold)
  • The model has clean topology and is built strictly out of quads and is subdividable
  • The model does not contain any instancing
  • Cabin controls (levers and such) don't always have perfect pivot points
  • Objects may not be in real scale units
  • Lights and cameras are not included with model
  • HDRI map is not included with model

It could use better method for working with the model to prepare it for slicing and printing. Difficult to print with either filament or resin.
