A aged, handled stock with staining and wear. Generated at 4K, entirely from code — Stained Crumpled Paper is one of 50 paper and canvas materials in the Paperforge library.
SEAMLESS — tiles cleanly in both axes, verified by wrap-edge measurement (see note below).
Ideal for period props, maps and letters, grunge overlays, game props.
Every material ships with a full 4K PBR set:
- Albedo (base colour, unlit — no lighting baked in)
- Normal (tangent space, OpenGL +Y)
- Height / displacement (grayscale)
- Roughness (grayscale)
All maps 4096x4096 JPG. A ready-to-render Blender project (.blend) is included, with the material already wired: albedo to Base Color, roughness to Roughness, normal through a Normal Map node, height to displacement. Open it and hit render, or append the material straight into your own scene.
Drops into Blender, Unreal, Unity, Substance, Marmoset, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Octane and Redshift.
Seam verification: every sheet is measured by comparing the pixel jump across the wrap edge against the typical jump between neighbouring interior pixels. A sheet only ships as SEAMLESS when that excess is under one 8-bit level — invisible at any tiling density.
LICENSE: royalty-free, unlimited personal and commercial use, no attribution required. You may not resell or redistribute the files themselves as a texture or material pack.
Made with Paperforge — Regolith Highfield's in-house procedural paper engine. Every surface is generated from code, not photographed and not produced with generative AI, so it is free of lens distortion, sensor noise, uneven lighting and copyright encumbrance.
