V-ray 5 Metal Shaders for C4D
We are proud to release our first product for V-Ray 5 for C4D. Every material we made has been carefully crafted, starting with a proper data acquisition from real world samples to see how materials behave in real life and in different conditions, and then trying to reproduce all the shading properties with great accuracy.
The result is a collection of over 400 high end metal shaders accurately tested to be production proven, featuring high resolution textures (diffuse, specular, bump, normal, displacement, alpha map, typical resolution up to 8K), chromatic variations of the same shader to quickly choose the one you need without tuning the color, all of that in a practical .lib4d file for the Content Browser in order to find easily what you are looking for.
Many shaders have been build in a modular way so that you can easily mix and match some characteristic to create even more great looking shaders.
Content Browser
All our shaders come with a .lib4d file for the native Cinema4D Content Browser.
The collection is organized in folders and subfolders. Inside the subfolders you will find each shader with his chromatic variations.
By clicking over the icon you will get the preview of the shader, you can scale the preview windows up to 1024 pixel in order to have a better overview.
The previews and the lighting setup have been carefully tailored to give the best possible feedback over the appearance of the metal, when needed you will find specific setup for displacement and anisotropy.

Every material in the library comes with a High resolution preview, and a lot of information like:
-Name of the Metal
-Color variation of the Metal
-Reference scale in cm and inches in order to have a quick feedback of the size of the real metal sample.
-Tiling information for scaling the shaders properly when using cubic projection
-Examples of typical uses of the metal
-Tips to get the most out of our shaders. This will vary from time to time depending on the shader setup
Support for Both CPU and GPU
V-Ray is famous for the robust CPU based engine, but our shader will work on GPU too.
You can use our bundle on Intel and AMD CPU, and by switching to the GPU engine you will be able to use both CUDA and RTX kernel available on Nvidia graphic cards, if that isn’t enough you can even use Hybrid render to use CPU and GPU at the same time, we have tested this and it is FAST, like VERY FAST!
This versatility makes V-ray one of the most complete solutions available on the market.

The Product have been tested on both MacOS and Windows Systems using V-ray 5 for Cinema4D.We have tested the product from R21 and above but it should work also on R20.
