Hey! New to 3D printing, is this an STL file? Or is this for something else?

It is not an STL file and I would be surprised if it were good for printing due to the complexity and way it was built but if it were taken into a 3D software such as blender or similar, it could be altered for that purpose. This model is mainly designed for VFX work.

The model as wonderful detail, and is stunning. I frankly bought it hoping I could one day print it off, but will settle for it being an absolutely wonderful object of digital art. Finding a great model of this ship has been a chore, but here it is.
