Remdesivir molecule

Remdesivir molecule 3D model

Description

Remdesivir (formula: C27H35N6O8P; CAS: 1809249-37-3; aka: Veklury) is an antiviral medication developed by Gilead Sciences to treat hepatitis C. As of 2020, Remdesivir is being tested as a treatment for COVID-19 for people with severe symptoms. Earlier studies found antiviral activity against other RNA viruses including SARS and MERS. It was shown to be ineffective when tested against Ebola. It may shorten the time it takes to recover from the infection. Side effects may include liver inflammation.

This molecule is provided in three standard representations and includes a simulated electrostatic (van der Waals) surface. The whole model is provided as a C4D scene, all objects are editable primitives or metaball objects.

The .fbx, .stl and .obj files are exported from C4D R20 and are provided as is.
