XfrogPlants Blue Yucca - Yucca Rigida 3D model

These plants are created by the very experienced modeler Konstantin Kim and sold exclusively by Xfrog. Kim (aka 3d Mentor) works in 3ds max GrowFX, and sets up shaders for Corona, VRay, and FStorm. ALL plants, for the first time EVER, have GrowFX (gfx) files included, and WIND, and all models and wind can be procedurally edited! Polycounts range from 100k to 600k. Download includes one model.

Yucca Rigida: Blue Yucca Yuccas in general have spiky rosettes of sword-like leaves, but they range from stemless to stout-trunked. One of those with a trunk is Yucca rigida, from north-central Mexico. Its area of occurrence lies in the southwestern part of the Chihuahuan Desert, in southeastern Chihuahua, northeastern Durango and the southwestern corner of Coahuila. Yucca rigida typically grows up to 15 ft in height and is spring-flowering, blooming in April and May with hundreds of creamy-white waxy flowers. The sweet oblong fruits of Yucca species, and their seeds as well are fed on by birds, deer, small mammals and nectar-feeding bats.
