I make full geometry trees for a living, so I figured I would start selling them here as well! These trees do not use opacity maps for their leaves, they are opaque geometry. They work very well with Nanite in Unreal Engine, and are optimized specifically for that purpose. I would not recommend using these outside of using Nanite, as they will not perform well without it! What you will get with this pack:
5 full geometry mangrove trees10 textures in total for leaves, bark, and branch cuts. They include base color, normals, bent normals optionally for the leaves, and AoRM textures (AO, roughness, metallic)
My recommendations for performance are to limit the distance that WPO (wind) affects the trees, clamp shadow cache invalidations to static, and set the culling distance nearly as far as you please. I usually recommend a value of 5,500-7,500 for trees of this size as the distance for WPO to affect them. Remember to set the leaf material to two sided and opaque!
