Name: Noeggerathia Foliosa
Period: Late Carboniferous to Early Permian. 323.4 to 293.5 million years ago.
This Variation: This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: Extinct plant from the Late Carboniferous and Early Permian periods. It could grow to be 1m tall and is known for its compound leaves, each possessing two rows of leaflets. The plant is thought to also have possessed a short trunk. This plant has have been described as difficult to classify and the genus was believed to belong to Cycadaceae, a family which currently consists only of Cycas. Specimens have been discovered worldwide recently, but as of 1906, it was only known from finds in the European Coal Measures, and there it was considered to be rare.
