EVERYPlant Dog Mercury 4 --14 Models-- 3D model

Description

Name: Dog Mercury

Scientific: Mercurialis perennis

This Variation: 4 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.

Notes: A poisonous herbaceous plant that usually grows in dense masses often in the ground flora of beech, oak, ash, elm and other types of woodlands in Europe. It also grows under the shade of hedgerows and scrub where it is considerd a noxious weed. It is found in dense masses in the woodlands in Europe. It has a preference for moderately shady to densely shady habitats. It is able to colonize new deciduous woods on dry, calcareous soils at an annual rate of a meter or more. Its natural range is much of Europe as well as in Algeria, Iran, Turkey, and the Caucasus, but almost absent from Ireland, Orkney and Shetland.

Included in this Package: 14 models in total

  1. Standard -- 138,358 polygons, 139,909 vertices -- 28.75cm tall. A flowering plant that is fully mature and in relative health. Useable in most scenes and applications.
  2. Thriving -- 138,248 polygons, 139,760 vertices -- 28.75cm tall. Peak health.
  3. Unhealthy -- 58,501 polygons, 58,932 vertices -- 15.61cm tall. Relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased.
  4. Dying -- 10,631 polygons, 10,892 vertices -- 12.38cm tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  5. Dead -- 5,222 polygons, 5,758 vertices -- 14.51cm tall. Showing only dead foliage.
  6. Seeding -- 28,513 polygons, 30,558 vertices -- 28.56cm tall. Plant is past its flowering stage and has lost its petals. The flowerheads have become capsules containing seeds.
  7. Budding -- 16,924 polygons, 17,625 vertices -- 26.07cm tall. Plant is in the pre-flowering stage.
  8. Vegetative -- 4,799 polygons, 5,891 vertices -- 22.67cm tall. Young plant still growing. It hasn't developed flower buds yet.
  9. Seedling -- 639 polygons, 834 vertices -- 8.8cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
  10. Small Patch -- 240,316 polygons, 243,381 vertices -- 27.17cm tall. A small patch containg a few plants.
  11. Medium Patch -- 380,120 polygons, 384,912 vertices -- 28.89cm tall. A medium patch with several plants
  12. Large Patch -- 766,035 polygons, 774,961 vertices -- 29.7cm tall. A large patch with many plants.
  13. Lower Poly -- 22,916 polygons, 22,801 vertices -- 28.75cm tall. Standard model with fewer polys to save system resources. Intended for mid or distant renders.
  14. Higher Poly -- 287,995 polygons, 301,150 vertices -- 28.75cm tall. Standard model with more polys for greater detail. Intended for close-up renders.

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.

EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant, perhaps just the identifiably different species which have at least a common name!
