The M109A7 Paladin is part of the Army's Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) program, aimed at modernizing and enhancing the capabilities of the existing M109 fleet. The M109A7 Paladin features numerous improvements over its predecessors, including a new chassis, powertrain, suspension system, and other components to enhance mobility, survivability, and lethality. It is equipped with a digital fire control system, a new 155mm cannon, and a more powerful engine to improve performance on the battlefield.
