Highly detailed model of the British Force Protection Ocelot (Foxhound), a compact light protected patrol vehicle designed for high-threat environments. The vehicle features a modular crew pod mounted on a blast-resistant chassis, optimized for survivability against mines and IEDs while maintaining mobility in urban and desert terrain.
Originally developed by Force Protection Europe (later part of General Dynamics), the Ocelot entered service with the British Army in the early 2010s and was widely deployed in Afghanistan. Its design emphasizes crew protection, situational awareness, and adaptability through interchangeable mission modules.
Typical roles include patrol, reconnaissance, convoy escort, and secure transport in asymmetric warfare conditions. The Foxhound combines MRAP-level protection with a smaller footprint, making it suitable for narrow roads and complex operational environments.
Fbx file does not include PBR textures; however, in the .blend file, materials have been applied as shown in one of the preview screenshots. The camouflage shader is fully procedural and calculated at runtime using Blender’s node-based system. It does not rely on any texture maps and will only function within Blender. This ensures non-repetitive pattern generation and ultra-lightweight material performance.
