Steyr AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr - army universal rifle) is a small arms complex released in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch (now Steyr Mannlicher AG & Co KG). In Australia, the rifle is produced under license under the brand name F88.
