DESCRIPTION
  • General

This is a model of the original Westbo Classic stove by Westbo of Sweden. It was modelled and prepared for photo-realistic renderings, close-ups, CG visualization. The fireplace is ready to be inserted in your scene.

  • Meshes

The .max stove model is presented as a group of meshes, consisting of: main piece, lower piece, stove mouths, rivets, feet, various doors and pieces. For the purpose of exporting the meshes have been attached together, but they are not welded so you can easily detach them in your software. I recommend adding a turbosmooth, meshsmooth or any other mesh subdivider for better look of the fireplace. The .max file already has it assigned.

  • Vray Materials

As this model was primary created for vray render engine, the vray version of the file contains also properly configured and assigned materials for the stove. Other versions have basic materials. So you will have to adjust them depending on your software and render engine.

  • Maps

This model comes bundled with 1 map(2K resolution) for the specific to the Pig Iron bump. All parts of the fireplace either have basic mapping or are fully UVW unwrapped.

  • Formats

The original file was created in 3ds Max 2011 with V-Ray materials (2.0 and above). You will receive a 3DS, OBJ, C4D, SKP, LWO, FBX and MAX file.

  • Information

All preview images are rendered with V-Ray/Octane. You will get only the stove and not the scenes used for the preview renders nor the wood and fire seen in the renders. The main material of the stove is Pig Iron,and the secondary is high glossiness painted metal which can be adjusted to various colours to fit your interior design project. Please also take into consideration that the preview images are the result of the post-production and the look of the fireplace in your scene may differ due to the specific settings of your own scene. Product is ready to render out-of-the-box. Please note that the lights, cameras, and any background not described above objects are not included in the product. The model is clean and alone in the provided files, centred at origin and has real-world scale.
