Data Center Cabinet Air Flow

Data Center Cabinet Air Flow 3D model

Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 Knowing how each node's cooling air flow works can guide you as to how to install them in a cabinet for Hot Aisle/Cold Aisle air management.

One thing to note is that most switches connections are on the Front whereas most server connections are on the back. So you give up 2 -3 Rack Units just to run cable from front to back. Additional grievence is that you have to run around from front to back just to visually check things like link state/port.
