DESCRIPTION

Add a detailed, openable control cabinet to industrial visualizations, close-up factory scenes and motion graphics. This original generic assembly includes a folded enclosure, mounting plate, cable ducts, DIN rails, six breaker housings, five controller/I-O modules, four contactors, 22 terminal blocks, visual wiring, bottom glands and a copper-colored bar.

The door includes a fictional display, three buttons, latch and hinges. Its 25 parts follow a named hinge parent through a supplied one-way opening animation: closed at frames 1/30 and 110 degrees open at frames 91/121, at 30 fps. Approximately four seconds with endpoint holds, not a seamless loop or physical simulation. No bones or armature. Screen text and indicator details are static.

Three formats are included: native BLEND, animated FBX and animated GLB. The native Open Control Cabinet collection has six functional subcollections, editable curves/text/bevels and a CABINET_ROOT for placement. A separate optional presentation studio with floor, lights and cameras is included in BLEND only. FBX/GLB contain evaluated equipment meshes with embedded textures and sampled animation, without the studio. In Blender's FBX importer use Animation Offset 0 to match the native frame numbers.

Surface materials include six original 1024x1024 tiling roughness/normal PNGs for powdercoat, molded polymer and brushed steel, plus constant shader colors and metallic values. Maps are packed/embedded and also supplied separately. Textured surfaces use intentionally overlapping, repeating UVs beyond 0-1; these are not unique lightmap UVs or a full-model texture atlas. No separate full base-color/metalness/AO map set. Other applications may require shader adjustment.

Equipment geometry totals: 402 evaluated geometry objects, 135,004 vertices, 124,537 polygons and 233,276 triangles. This is ONE cabinet assembly, not 402 unique assets. Metric scene, approximately 1.84 m tall. Tested in Blender 5.1.2 by fresh native collection append, packed-image checks, source door-motion checks and real FBX/GLB reimports at multiple animation frames. Preview images are actual renders of this model.

For digital visualization only. Wiring and components are illustrative: no operational electrical circuit, PLC program, engineering ratings, manufacturing accuracy, safety certification or 3D-printing claim. A flexible door wiring harness is not included. Original geometry and surface maps created with an AI-assisted procedural workflow; no manufacturer affiliation or third-party branded content.
