DESCRIPTION

Generic electric forklift and warehouse starter set for industrial visualization, warehouse scenes and product animation. Includes four asset groups, PBR textures, a controllable Blender edition and FBX/GLB exports with baked forklift motion.

INCLUDED ASSETS

  • Electric forklift
  • Hand pallet jack
  • Wooden pallet with five individually movable cartons
  • Warehouse rack bay

BLENDER CONTROLS

Mechanical controls cover fork lift, mast tilt, rear-wheel steering, travel with wheel rotation and fork spacing. The rig uses object parenting and drivers, with no armature. A 140-frame demonstration shows the mechanism in motion.

Verified control ranges in the supplied release: forklift travel from -10 to +10 meters; pallet-jack handle from -60 to +15 degrees around its local Y axis.

FILES AND COMPATIBILITY

  • Native Blender file tested in Blender 4.5, with separate asset and studio scenes, object controls and presentation setup
  • Four FBX files with embedded textures and baked forklift animation
  • Four GLB files with embedded textures; the forklift has one synchronized animation clip

Interactive controls are native to Blender. Exchange files contain baked motion rather than the live Blender controls. The supplied release documentation records testing with factory Blender 4.5.0 and states that K-Cycles and third-party add-ons are not required. Native compatibility with other Blender versions has not been individually validated.

MATERIALS

The forklift uses a 4K PBR atlas. The pallet jack, pallet/cargo and rack each use separate 2K atlases. Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, OpenGL Normal and packed ORM maps are supplied as PNGs. Textures are packed into the native file and embedded in the exchange files.

GEOMETRY AND SCOPE

The asset set contains 249 mesh objects, 129,566 vertices and 137,216 polygons (243,710 triangles), excluding the presentation floor, lights, cameras and control empties. Geometry uses quads and triangles. All assets are UV mapped. Exchange-format vertex counts may differ due to UV seams and normals. The forklift accounts for 184,306 triangles. Source units are meters.

LODs, collision meshes, engine-specific setup, vehicle physics and print preparation are not included. This set is intended for visualization and rendering workflows.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
