A detailed vintage kerosene lantern reconstructed from the illustrations of Robert Lewis's 1914 patent US1090728. Designed as a static historical prop for interior scenes, still-life renders and period environments.
The model includes a hollow glass globe, metal protective cage, arched carrying handle, pierced chimney, oil reservoir, adjustment wheel and a simplified internal striker/snuffer and match-magazine assembly. Lightly aged steel and brass materials provide subtle color variation and surface grain.
Included files: Blender 5.2.2 scene, FBX, OBJ/MTL, editable Fusion F3D source and STEP solids. The Blender file contains packed textures and the studio lighting/camera used for the main preview. FBX and OBJ contain the lamp only. No external add-ons are needed to use the asset.
Technical details:
The original patent does not provide manufacturing dimensions. Scale, finishes and some details are inferred; the internal mechanism is simplified and has not been tested for movement or manufacturing. This is a visual reconstruction, not a functional engineering replica or a ready-to-print kit.
Preview images are actual renders of the included model. Glass is temporarily hidden in the burner close-up and wireframe
