The sculptural, totemic coffee tables, are designed taking inspiration from the “Moai” sculptures in Ahu Akivi, made from natural stone and tinted glass. The base is carved from a single block of natural stone. The glass dividing the top marble piece and the main body tries to show how a strong rock can actually be fragile just like nature and also creates a decorative effect with the marble texture that rises to the surface in its place. Hidden joint detail brings together the top marble piece, glass, and base in a practical way.
