Kangourou Coffee Table

Kangourou Coffee Table 3D model

Description

The Kangourou Coffee Table was designed in 1954 by Mathieu Matégot and is characterised by its design of Rigitulle, a pairing of perforated metal sheet and metal tubing, that Matégot invented a couple of years earlier. Shadows also play a key role in Matégot’s designs. The Kangourou Coffee Table consists of two small tables, the smaller one sitting within the larger. When the tables are displayed together as one unit, light passes through, reflecting half-moon shadows onto the floor below, when standing separately, two full moons are reflected.
