DESCRIPTION

Inspired by Alexander Calder's kinetic sculptures, Bernard Schottlander's Mantis series has movement at its core.Grounded with a tripod base, the Mantis BS1 Floor Light uses a counterweight that it enables it to be positioned in five points, while its stem can be rotated through a 360-degree angle. Its distinctively curved aluminium shade is made using spinning and chasing techniques, and can also be angled to direct light where you need it most.With its slender dimensions and considered lines, the Mantis BS1 light from DCW Editions makes a modern addition to the home with an inherent sense of dynamism.
