Aria Suspension Pendant by Zaha Hadid for 3DsMax and Corona 3D model

This is a 3D model of the famous Aria Suspension Pendant designed by the great Zaha Hadid. Hadid’s masterpiece consists of 50 «arms», or petals, each diverse from the others, radiating around a voluminous light source.

The model is fully render-ready in 3Ds Max with Corona Renderer 7 and above, however some tweaks might be necessary depending on the scene. Due to complex design and multiple transparencies that the rays have to travel through, the lamp may be a little slow to render. Be sure to set max ray bounces in Corona to 50 ar above to avoid black areas, where the rays would terminate after reaching max bounce level. The file has three materials set up for the transparent arms — clear transparent, orange, and black.

OBJ and FBX exchange formats are also included for use in any other software or rendering engine.
