This 3D model showcases two power units with a net capacity of 164 MW and 273 MW, respectively. It is the first plant in Colombia to utilize combustion technology with fluidized bed boilers, which allow for the use of a natural resource such as non-exportable coal from the Córdoba department, promoting sustainable and formal development of the mining industry.
The fluidized bed boilers have the advantage of reducing emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).
The model also features a flight mission over an area of 1.29 km2, with a ground sampling distance (GSD) of 5.45 cm/px. The intricate details and textures of the model accurately represent the power units and their surroundings, providing an immersive experience for viewers interested in the energy industry and sustainable development.
