About this model
Relatively Lowpoly asset with basic textures created for use in a now defunct game, as featured in the preview images and video*. Fort walls and towers are integratedas one mesh, though certain elements are modular (such as interior structures). This model is intended for quick, easy use; the gun windows were designed for use alongside my 4-iber long gun model; not included in this model but can be found here: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/4ib-naval-long-gun
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a fully modular model, as it was created to be a standalone asset for use in a pre-defined game. I do intend on releasing a refreshed, UE4 modular version shortly; so watch this space.
Features:
Full set of UV maps and pre-rigged doorways (warning: some of the maps are fairly large due to the planked nature of the walls)
All towers and buildings are fully explorable
Wood planking is mostly indivdual, meaning light penetrates through the gaps as it would realistically with this type of building
Battle-damaged section; this fortification has seen use (section can be fairly easily replaced with clean section if desired)
Basic texturing means this should slip nicely into most workflows, even PBR with only a little extra work. Colour and bump included but be aware these are not of the highest resolution and I'd recommend replacing if possible.
History
This fictional fortress is loosely based upon the 18th-century Russian forest fort design, representing a 'Bandit' fortress. Intended for use in a now defunct Age of Sail game set in the Carribbean, it was commisioned alongside a few other basic low-poly models which I hope to get uploaded as well at some point.
*Please note that this sale is only for the fortess itself. Surrounding game environment is NOT included.
