DESCRIPTION

This is a next-generation PBR modular 3D game asset package for desert towns in the Middle East. All components are independently disassembled and can be freely pieced together to build a complete desert town.##Asset Component Details

  1. Tower group (top left)**Three sand and stone watchtowers with different styles, including damaged towers, intact towers with external stone steps, and small pointed watchtowers; The wall has weathered and peeled off, and the stone joints are worn out, making it suitable for use as a sentry post and defensive stronghold.
  2. Oasis Courtyard Mansion (top right)**A large composite courtyard building, enclosed high walled courtyard, containing a pool, palm trees, multi story main house, and mast structure, is the core of the town's large-scale architecture, with a Middle Eastern oasis manor style.
  3. * * Medium sized residential building complex (middle row)**Multiple sets of connected and standalone mixed earth and stone houses, with stone walls and wooden frames, pointed tile roofs, arched doors and windows, some with external wooden balconies and wooden boardwalks, row shops, large residential buildings, and pedestrian arches, restoring the old city's streets and alleys.
  4. * * Small high-rise residential buildings (bottom)**Multiple sets of simple high legged wooden houses, with wooden supports to elevate the house, simple sunshades, small terraces, and palm vegetation, belong to the bottom dwelling of the poor. The details are worn out, and the walls and wooden boards have signs of wear and dust.
  5. * * Small props**A small amount of outdoor furniture props, benches, tables, and chairs are attached in the lower right corner for scene decoration.Artistic characteristicsColor tone: desert yellow, sand and gravel beige, old wood gray brown, overall desert and Gobi color tone;Material: PBR next-generation material, with a weathered effect of aging, resulting in wall debris, tile wear, and wood aging, presenting a realistic and worn-out texture;Modular design, each building is an independent model that can be freely placed and combined with streets, squares, and markets without the need to modify the model.Applicable scenarios
  6. Game development: Unity/Unreal Unreal Engine, open world RPG, survival game, adventure game, creating desert city states, Middle Eastern ancient towns, Gobi trade towns, and oasis village scenes.
  7. Film and television CG, animated short films, virtual sand tables, and digital scene rendering.
  8. Conceptual rendering, virtual sandbox, and metaverse environment construction.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
