Large 25kmsq model of Central London. Includes Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, The Mall, Piccadilly, Covent Garden, Waterloo, City of London, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, The Shard and Canary Wharf.

This is an accurate but lightweight model of London, made from fully licensed 2016 aerial imagery using stereo photogrammetry. All major roof shapes and features are captured with 200cm accuracy. Terrain is not flat but height changes are modelled where they occur (river embankment for example).

The model is made of 25 tiles measuring 1km x 1km in real world. Each of these tiles is further separated into 4 subtiles measuring 500m x 500m. Model is further separated into layers - Terrain, Buildings and Water. Scene objects in FBX are organised into tile groups and each object has a single material applied to them.

The 3D Model is fully modular with our higher detail Level 2 3D Models of London. This allows you to upgrade area of interest to include trees and separated terrain as you can simply buy a tile of Level 2 model and replace it. The model is also modular with our flagship 15cm accuracy Level 3 models - contact us if you require Level 3.

The 3D Model of London has previously been used for various projects such as planning, architecture, CGI visulizations, News and TV production and even for wind modelling and drone navigation simulations. It is fully licensed for 5 years from the date of purchase.
