Lviv is a city in western Ukraine, about 70 kilometers from the border with Poland. The city's architecture retains traces of Polish and Austro-Hungarian heritage and combines styles from Eastern and Central Europe, namely Italy and Germany. In the park of the High Castle on the top of the mountain there are ruins of a 14th-century fortress. From here you have a panoramic view of the green domes of the churches and the hills surrounding the city.
