Kuala Lumpur is the modern capital of Malaysia, dominated by the Petronas Towers skyscraper. It is a twin tower made of glass and steel, 451 meters high, and has Islamic motives in its architecture. The towers are connected by a covered walkway, and observation platforms are open for visitors at their top. The city is famous for its architectural monuments, erected during the British rule, including the railway station and the Building of Sultan Abdul-Samad.
