The Princess of Moonbrooke is a character in Dragon Quest II.She is a Scion of Erdrick who inherited none of her ancestor's physical strength but makes up for that in her ability to use magic.

The Princess is an intelligent yet serious young woman. For much of her life, she had repressed her emotions in the face of hardship. During her travels with her cousins and at the urging of the Prince of Cannock however, she displays them more openly, often wasting no time expressing her anger towards particular foes or her sadness in the worst of times. She also does not mince her words very often.

Prone to self-deprecation, the Princess frequently apologises in the face of faux-pas, even if said apology is not warranted. Though she thinks lowly of her and the other Scions' abilities at first, as the game goes on, she comes to be moved by the amount of people rooting for them and the hardships they have faced and becomes determined to face Hargon and gains more self-confidence. Initially motivated by pure revenge and emotion, over time, the Princess comes to view her travels with her companions as more important.

For all her seriousness, the Princess is shown to occasionally snark and giggle, and is loyal to her other companions, even refusing the Prince of Cannock's pleas to not aid him during the time he was ill. Having been taught many talents by her father, she is knowledgable in a variety of areas such as music. She is the voice of the party, frequently being the one to explain things to people.
