The design represents a cartoon alien in 3D. The model is game engine ready and has been fully rigged in Mixamo.
The model is high quality and a considerable amount of time has been put into modifying the topology for optimal rigging results. The models topology has also been optimized for use in Unity.
In Unity, use the character in the standard assets, swap this character with the default, and make sure to use the new avatar. The character will automatically be brought to life. Animations for the character can be downloaded on Mixamo. You can also create custom animations if you like.
The textures are in 4K. The textures for the alien’s skin, shirt, pants, and shoes have been separated for customizability. The textures for the skin, shirt, and pants were created procedurally. The texture for the shoes was designed from a seamless photo. Each texture contains a diffuse and a normal map.
Note:
-Feel free to modify the model, textures, or anything else for your application as you see fit.
-The textures are included in a zip folder. They are also shown in the previews.
-The FBX may generate an extra head bone. Simply delete the head bone to remove the issue. The model was designed in Blender and therefore converting the files may cause some unusual behavior.
-The Youtube preview is for demonstration purposes. The model does not come with the environment or animations seen in the video. The model also may have varying materials and textures compared to the video. View the preview photos to see what materials and textures come with the model.
-You may need to unzip the files and place them in a folder for the textures to appear correctly. You may also need to reapply the textures if they do not load properly in your 3D software of choice.
-The model wears the shirt and pants. The model does not have any underlying features other than the natural color of it's skin. The model also does not have feet. The shoes are directly connected to it's ankles.
-Depending on the animations choosen, the model may slightly intersect with it's clothing. I suggest using shape keys or avoiding animations that does this. You may also choose to delete parts underlying the clothes that may intersect with them for certain animations.
