Human Hair Under the Microscope is a three-dimensional model of segment of the scalp (human head skin) under a microscope.
The scalp, when viewed under a microscope, reveals a complex structure of skin and hair follicles. The epidermis, or outer layer, appears as a protective barrier composed of layers of cells. Beneath this lies the dermis, containing blood vessels, nerves, and hair follicles. These follicles can be seen in various stages of hair growth, from actively producing hair to resting phases. Additionally, microscopic examination reveals sebaceous glands that secrete oil to lubricate the hair and skin.
