Volvemon is an Unknown Digimon. It came into existence back when the Digital World was still an experimental environment unmanaged by a central operating system. Researchers introduced an environmental AI—what would later be called Volvemon—to cycle the world through stages. It would use the halo on its back to convert the digital environment to pure data and absorb it, then use the generator on its chest to compress the data for emanation, thereby perpetuating the world. These cycles stimulated the digital lifeforms to ultimately achieve Digivolution. Records indicate that with Volvemon no longer needed after control was transferred to a central operating system, it was sealed within the system as Albatusmon and Atratusmon. Because no combat test logs exist, its offensive capabilities are purely conjecture.

Revolutio Rerum: Absorbs all nearby matter for subsequent emanation, generating a maelstrom that must certainly bring total annihilation to anything that gets caught up in it.
