The idea for this outfit came from Lyari, an area in Karachi that is often called the “Mini Brazil of Pakistan” because of its deep love for Brazilian football culture. Learning about this unique connection inspired me to explore the relationship between football, identity, and local culture through fashion.I wanted to reinterpret a football jersey as an oversized collared knitted shirt and pair it with denim jeans to create a contemporary streetwear look. To bring in a sense of place and heritage, I incorporated Baloch-inspired patterns into the design, celebrating the art and cultural identity of the community. This project is a fusion of Pakistani culture, Lyari’s passion for football, and Brazilian influence, brought together through digital fashion.
