Grumman F-14 Tomcat Fighter Jet is a 3d model of supersonic, twin-engine, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft that was developed by Grumman Aerospace Corporation for the United States Navy.
The F-14 was designed in the 1960s as a naval air superiority fighter to replace the F-4 Phantom II. Its first flight occurred in 1970, and it entered service with the U.S. Navy in 1974. One of the most distinctive features of the F-14 is its variable-sweep wing design, which allows the wings to be swept back for high-speed flight and extended for improved lift during takeoff and landing. The F-14 is powered by two Pratt Whitney TF30 or later General Electric F110 turbofan engines, providing it with high thrust and enabling it to achieve speeds over Mach 2.3.
For military training simulations, defense industry visualizations, flight dynamics studies, aviation-themed games, tools, cinematic animations, and combat jet in flight educational, or promotional projects.
Grumman F-14 Tomcat Fighter Jet is a high quality, photo real 3d model that will enhance detail and realism to any of your rendering projects. The model has a fully textured, detailed design that allows for close-up renders, and was originally modeled in 3ds Max and rendered with V-Ray. Renders have no postprocessing!
