DESCRIPTION

This model is built for visualization and animation. It is a medium to high poly model, It is built near to scale (within a few percent in general dimensions) and is fully textured. The landing gear are also built with a potential for animation including landing gear doors and a good amount of detail. The canopy opens and also can be animated. All control surfaces can be animated including flaps, ailerons, stabilators, and rudder. The cockpit is modeled in some detail but is not textured for the purpose of close up renderings. These models also come with a livery that is 1 of 50 different units of the USAF, Air National Guard of the US various states, and many allied nations. This model comes with the AIM 9X air to air Missiles on the wing tips. External Fuel tanks are also included under wing pylons. The F-16A Fighting Falcon fighter was developed in the early 1970s as a light weight air superiority fighter for the United States Air Force by then General Dynamics Aircraft (now Lockheed Martin Aircraft) to replace aircraft of the century fighters generation. Its first flight was in August of 1974 and was introduced in 1978. It remains in service with the United States Air Force and many many allies around the world.

Over the past 40 years it has become a multirole fighter able to drop dumb or smart bombs and precision guidance ordinance on a wide variety of targets hard or soft targets, and operate as fighter interceptors. These fighters have grown far beyond their initial design parameters and have been a huge war fighter for several conflicts.

Currently these aircraft are no longer in production for the USAF but a new generation of these aircraft are being manufactured for foreign allies. It promises to remain a force to help shape and reshape the battlefield and airspace in conflicts around the world. This aircraft is painted in the scheme of the Polish Air Force.
