Skyhawk was built very near to scale and is fully textured. Many features are animateable including ailerons, flaps, rudder and elevators, main and tail landing gear and doors. This model is detailed to include cockpit. Controls, instrument panels and many cranks and switches are modeled in the cockpit and the cockpit canopy opens. Model is provided in different formats.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a single seat carrier-capable attack aircraft developed for the US Navy and Marine Corps. The delta winged, single-engined Skyhawk was originally designated A-4D. Skyhawks played key roles in the Vietnam War, the Yom Kippur War, and the Falklands War. The A-4G were modified to carry four underwing Sidewinder AIM-9B missiles increasing their Fleet Defense capability.
