DESCRIPTION

This model is built very near to actual scale of the real aircraft. The model has animateable features including turbines, landing gear, landing gear doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, inboard and outboard flaps. It is fully textured with texture and livery maps and includes exterior detail. It is available in many formats. This model is built with video animation and simulation both in mind. It can be flown or static within an animated scene around an airport or in flight. It may also be programmed for use in some flight simulation applications.

Bombardier CS-100 was developed as a member of a family of narrow body twin-engine, medium range airliners for the regional and continental markets. Originally designed and built by Bombardier of Canada it is now a joint partnership for manufacturing with France’s Airbus. The aircraft was designed for 100 to 133 seat configuration. Its first flight was in September 2013. It entered service with Swiss Global Airlines and Air Baltic in 2016. Airbus acquired a 50.1 percent ownership in the C Series of aircraft in 2018. In 2019 Airbus opened a second assembly plant in Mobile Alabama to build the Airbus 220-100 and variants.
