Description

The Tupolev ANT-9 (PS-9) was a Soviet passenger aircraft of the 1930s. It was developed as a reaction to the demand for a domestic airliner. Ant-9 transport plane modified with an extended nose painted to resemble a crocodile head for propaganda purposes in the early 1930s. The crocodile motif was intended to promote the satirical magazine “Crocodile”.
