DESCRIPTION

The Saunders-Roe SR.45 Princess is a high-quality, photo-real 3D model of the largest all-metal flying boat ever constructed. Developed in the late 1940s to recapture the prestige of luxury transatlantic air travel, the Princess was a marvel of British engineering, featuring a double-bubble pressurized fuselage designed to carry up to 105 passengers in supreme comfort. This asset captures the majestic proportions of the aircraft, including its massive high-mounted wing and the complex ten-engine turboprop configuration. The model is presented in a classic silver and grey livery, complete with the Union Jack on the vertical stabilizer and retractable wingtip floats.

The model is built with high-accuracy, low-poly geometry and utilizes clean, base-color shading suitable for various lighting environments. All renders are provided without post-processing.

Suitable for all major 3D software suites, including Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Unreal Engine. Ideal for historical aviation simulations, documentaries on the golden age of flying boats, and high-fidelity visualizations of mid-century British aerospace design.

Features:

High-quality polygonal model, correctly scaled to represent the massive dimensions of the original luxury flying boat.

Model is fully textured with all materials applied, covering the expansive exterior and double-deck interior.

Accurate representation of the ten Bristol Proteus turboprop engines, featuring four coupled pairs driving contra-rotating propellers and two single outboard engines.

Detailed flight deck and passenger cabin areas featuring realistic glazing across multiple deck levels.

Realistic hull design with a two-step bottom for water operations and detailed wingtip stabilizing floats.

Features a high-mounted stabilizer and distinctive tall tail fin with authentic period markings.

Professionally designed at real-world scale with organized, logically named Blender objects for easy scene integration.
