KLM introduced this aircraft into its fleet in the early 1990s, primarily for long-haul international flights. The MD-11 features a distinctive three-engine configuration with a wide fuselage, allowing for increased passenger capacity and cargo space. Typically configured to seat around 300 passengers in a two-class setup (Business and Economy).
