Description

New Version : The Classical Guitar model has been updated in August 2022, it is a low poly model now (mid to low), it has been modeled in Blender 3.2, textured in Substance 3D Painter and rendered in Cycles. In the Blender file, you will be able to find a high poly model, low poly with separate parts, exploded versions (for AO Fix purpose in Substance 3D Painter), and also the parts jointed low poly version plus low poly and high poly versions of the Guitar pick. The last two images are from the old version, the ones which contain the Blender logo and Substance logo are the images of the updated version.

Other formats have been exported from Blender 3.2, in case of any problem in the model or in any file format, please feel free to contact me, I will be happy to give necessary support on the model problems if any.

Old Version : (High Poly, and naive version) Classic Guitar Design has been designed in Blender 2.74, Cycles Render Design consists of a Classic Guitar and a Guitar Holder, Strings of guitar has not been prepared properly. The design consists of ver low quality guitar strings

Vertices : 685399 Tris : 1366622 Objects : 35 Zip File : 261 Mb

Zip File Consists of - Blend File - Textures and Bump Map of Ground and Wall Textures - Photoshop Files and - Render Results

Hand of Guitar is parent of all other parts of guitar, for this reason, to move guitar, hand of guitar should be selected.

it'impossible to me to figure out 260Mb for a such simple object, in such a space I could put 10 3-mast sailing ships complete of sails and hardware. number of vertices is really excessive, I normally use blender and in my opinion you could make the same guitar with something as 10.000 verts. I have some doubt about the orientation and color of the wood. and finally pay attention to the type of shadows you are using as it seems that in some places they do not touch the support. good shape, good soil and wall

First of all thank you so much for your review and comments, I will take into consideration. In fact, blender file is 22.8 Mb but with render results, photoshop files and bump map textures, it reaches up to 260 Mb. Just Render Pictures are 87 Mb and Bump Map Files are 74.4 Mb. Regarding to Verts, the verts are verts of all in picture 2 (The picture with 2 Guitars and Bump Mapped Ground and Wall). You are right about those also, those numbers misleading, I think I should also be careful while putting those information. Again thank you very much for your review and comments.

I think you do not use blender correctly, its use is not different from 3dsmax and others, except the interface. First when you save the blend file check the Compress option on the left sidebar, that reduces a lot the original blender file. Second, to obtain bump it is not necessary to make a render, change it to B&W and apply again as a bump map; you can get a really acceptable result only activating the "bump" and using the same applied texture as bumping agent (I intend not to apply the texture twice, only use it as texture and bump) : it is sufficient to increase the bump value sufficiently with + or - sign as it is necessary. Doing so you reduce by 87+74Mb the file. In case anyhow you need to save a rendering to be reapplied, use jpg with a 0.7 factor, and not the default png, all with a resolution of no more then 1000x1000px, sufficient in general, you gain a lot. Last, for such a drawing a jpg texture image of 400x400px or 1000x1000px has all the detail you need, one for the wall, one for the wood, all together are less than half a Mb. As an example look at the detail and bumps I obtained with my very simple model "Medieval Romanic Style Portal no 2" that you can find on cgtrader- all the model, including textures is 0,7Mb. For the ground it is not necessary to use a bump map, you can obtain a similar effect with "noise" or other internally generated textures. Amuse...

Thank you so much for all details and information. It was a pleasure for me. In those subjects, I think, I must study more to upload more efficient files. Now, I am working on an iphone modelling and I will try all you mention above on that study. I think this approach will also decrease render time. Again Thank you so much for all info and suggestions you gave. Best Regards...
