My experience is that your verification checks for textures does not work and thus first thing customer sees is misleading information about my models.
Hey, CGTrader community! :)
Applying textures and materials effectively can take your 3D models to the next level. To help artists meet CGTrader’s high-quality standards, a new guide has been published that dives into Texture and Material Requirements in detail: https://www.cgtrader.com/blog/mastering-cgtrader-s-texture-material-requirements-enhancing-your-3d-models-to-meet-top-quality-standards
Key highlights include:
-High-resolution textures (2048x2048 or higher) to bring out fine details.
-PBR materials with consistent albedo, metalness, and roughness maps for realistic lighting and surfaces.
-Optimization tips like texture atlases and mipmaps to balance quality and performance.
Let’s discuss tips and experiences!
-How do you create seamless textures or manage resolution across maps?
-Any advice for aligning PBR maps effectively?
-What tools or workflows do you use to optimize textures for real-time applications?
Looking forward to learning from the community! ;)

Hi Judita,
Could you please reprocess the models that have ".hdr" files? Most of my models have square PBR textures with HDR files(for rendering). Thanks
Do the high quality standard include the thousands of "any model I can download for free & claim is mine" and add a loop to suddenly becomes 3d printable jewellery... especially the extremely well trademarked items such as Nike Sneakers? There is little to no quality control, and it will be getting worse now makers are subject to draconian new policies, and paid far less than they used to be. I look forward to the next 3d site to emerge so I can start all over again...
