I think this topic needs to be discussed, and maybe it's time to change the system itself a little.
Sellers on CGT are like the owners of little stores in a giant supermarket.
Tell me, have you seen in real life a store that has a discount on absolutely every product? No. There's a discount on some products, there's a NO discount on some products, and that's okay.
The current system on CGT is aimed exclusively at the benefit of the buyer. But the seller is driven into rigid absolutely disadvantageous frames.
We are offered: either to have a discount on all products, or no discounts.
In stores there are always discounts, but not all at once and they may differ from each other!
I would like the seller to have a choice:
1. To make a discount on everything or to remove the discount - as now.
2. Choose the products that he wants to sell at a discount, and what products to sell without discount.
3. Choose the SIZE of the discount. Something can be sold at a discount of 10%, and something selling bad can be sold at a discount of 60-90%, some products may sell without discounts at all - customer can always negotiate.
This is a flexible system that has been used for decades by all the stores in the world, it suits everyone.
The vice of the current system is also that when choosing discounts on all - sellers just increase the price of this product - everyone understands what is done on purpose, that it makes no sense, so why we need such a system?
I don't know much about economic processes and maybe I miss something important, please don't judge me strictly :)
