If you ask me, the whole system is wrong. There is a huge devaluation of the work in place.. not only here but in the world... I had to quit all promotional initiatives and Sale offs. You find yourself paying a lot of fees only to receive money (via PayPal).
It's ridiculous and somewhat wrong to find (for example) detailed models of cars sold under 100$. It means you work almost free. I do woodworking jobs now and then and it usually pays much much more (per-hour). Doing something by passion should not become a reason to devalue work. Without considering the enormous damage that this is determining on a global level. What I'm saying is that we should stop for a moment and ask ourselves where we are going to end up with this trend.
In the immediate future, I will probably focus on developing my personal website to sell my models to a lower price for the final user and set up a payment method to avoid any fees.
