I also find this annoying and would personally not do that.
However, for the reason other people do it, there is a saying that goes
'There is no such thing as bad publicity'
The more they post, the more they spread out, the bigger the chance people will see it or talk about it. If there is one on every search page it increases the chance of buyers finding the models.
Also, even if all of the renders are displayed on the same page and not spread-out on different pages, it still catches the eye.
It is annoying, but it unfortunately it works. Or it works well enough for those people to do it apparently.
I agree with eveyrhing you said, what i have found dumb is that those uploads happend at once, or with a very small time window in between uploads, so what happend is that all those same products are on the same page at the same time one after another, that in promotional terms have the same effect as one uploaded product. I understand when someone upload product and than after week or two upload that same product with different color, texture, or just improved product all around. Thank you for your answer.
